Dr. Elizabeth Davis-Everhart

Elizabeth Davis-Everhart, DMA is a respected pedagogue in the area of piano and teaching students with disabilities and is a frequent presenter, podcast guest, author and adjudicator. She is the current V.P./President-elect of the Savannah Music Teachers Association and has a vibrant private piano studio. Elizabeth is also the founder of Creative Piano Pedagogy, her online piano pedagogy initiative through which Elizabeth authors and teaches online pedagogy courses, holds webinars and community events, and coaches teachers around the world.

Dr. Davis-Everhart is a renowned expert on teaching piano to students with disabilities, especially students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, OCD, ODD, as well as 2-E and gifted learners. Elizabeth is passionate about providing students with the highest quality music education experience, and about empowering and partnering with teachers to help them successfully cultivate musicality in their own students.

Dr. Christina Mathis

Dr. Christina Mathis is a professor, collaborative pianist and pedagogue teaching young learners through collegiate level pianists at William Carey University. She is the founder and director of Carey Music Academy at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Christina mentors collegiate instructors, designs teacher training systems, and develops curricula that emphasize both artistry and professional competence. Her work supports two central aims: providing accessible, high-quality music education for the community and preparing teachers for long-term, ethical, and financially viable careers in independent and institutional settings.
Dr. Mathis is also the host of the Purposeful Piano Pedagogy Podcast.
